Christians Together in Shepton Mallet (CTSM).

CTSM consists of six churches of different denominations who work together within our community:

The Anglican church (St Peter and St Paul's)

The Baptist church

Just Church

The Methodist church

The Roman Catholic church (St Michael's)

The Salvation Army

CTSM Statement of Faith and Unity:

We believe in one God, Creator and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.

We believe in one faith, one Lord, one baptism.

We believe that we are called to witness and work together and pray together in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

and by the power of his Holy Spirit.

We therefore covenant together to continue to work and to pray for the reconciliation and unity of the whole Church

in our town, our surrounding villages and throughout the world, holding together the rich variety of our heritage and worship

in one Body.

We declare that this convenant in no way weakens our commitments and responsibilities to our individual denominations.

CTSM Statement of Mission:

We seek through our different traditions to express our common faith by praying, worshipping, witnessing and serving together.

We strive, with God's help, to take the message of Christ's love, in actions and in words, to our town and surrounding villages.

By engaging in active dialogue, we will endeavour to demonstrate mutual respect, sensitivity and support to one another and to our community

in all that we do.
